Morning Meditation: August 9

Isaiah 33:22 “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.”

Thank God feelings are not facts. Whether the feeling is annoyance or fear, the fact is God saves. In addition to the privilege of being Born Again, beginning a new life through Christ Jesus, thankfully, God does not stop there. He wants our lives to be such that we can lean into Him with any problem or concern. He is our King, Lawgiver and Judge. Moreover, that authority empowers us to declare peace and protection over our lives and the lives of others.

Prayer: Lord God, You are Mighty and You are Awesome. Thank You for the privilege of knowing You. I ask that You grant me courage, focus and fortuitousness to make my requests known unto You, using evidence of the promises presented in Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
