God is steady. God is unchanging. God is unfailing. All of life’s circumstances can be handled by God, The Creator. Do we allow Him to take the rightful place in our lives? He will not impose His will upon us. So the matter becomes whether or not we surrender (admittedly, this is hard for me to do), submit and acquiesce to Our Heavenly Father. Here is where our faith enters.

For most people, as children we knew our mothers or fathers would provide food. We did not ask each day, “Are you going to feed me?” There was an expectation. Likewise, God is our Great Provider. While we do not always have to ask, we can always expect that He wants what is best for us.

Prayer: Dear God, help me to see You as the Heavenly Creator You are. Give me the confidence and assurance I need that no matter my circumstances, I can expect that You will work out every issue in my life, for my benefit and to Your glory. Increase my faith in this area. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
