Hebrews 8:13 “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”
I am living under the Grace of the New Covenant through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. The old law was good; it was perfect for the time, the people, the culture. But God, Hallelujah (translation: the highest praise), saw fit to create a new covenant with mankind, in order to bring her/him back into communication without the high priest as a mediator. Jesus is/was the sacrificial Lamb.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your continual Grace and the desire You have for Your human creation to have a direct relationship with You. Show us more of You through Your Love. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
