Just Cause

So often a life made more difficult

Just cause

Not a cause of my own foolish mistakes (we all make them), but

Cause: microscopes

Cause: what I do gets magnified

Cause: the road I travel isn’t Just paved

Rather it Has to be nail strewn

Be-Cause of an injustice caused by

my God-intended appearance (and right) to be Just what it is

And people think-expect this high time of I-marched-with-you I-protested got-my TikTok-photo-op social-media-likes moment is gonna make people forget. Nah, Bruh.

It’s going to take more than that and I am not The Christ, so go get-a-hug from your mama.

Anger subsiding a little bit at a time

each microaggression consistent keeping folks in my (prayer) life

Cause:

I’m tired of being expected to forgive all who commit the same transgression EVERYDAMNDAY without true repentance: Just Cause
