Ghetto or Suburbs? It should be a no-brainer, but it’s not.

I am house searching, condo search, co-op searching, whichever suits the best bang for my proverbial buck. Living minus school age children, I do not need to reside in an A+ school district. However, I also do not want to contribute tax dollars to a system reeking of juvenile delinquency.
